Our new offcie/gallery is located in the old Ivey’s Building in uptown Charlotte on the second floor. Currently this office is open by appointment only.
The main studio is located in the historic Kirby building at 320 West Main in downtown Gastonia. Our beautiful building originally built in the 1800′s has been transformed by Scott and Dodie Huffman (formerly of Photogenix Portrait Studio on York Street) into a state of the art boutique-style photography studio and framing gallery serving the area for all your photography needs. You, our client and friend, will be greeted by earth toned décor and warm lighting with striking ceilings. An elegant spiral staircase leads upstairs to the studio and theatre. The gallery is filled with impressive 40 x 60″ wall portraits and images of beautiful brides, babies and families. Clients can cozy up on the red sofas and look through storybook photo albums of weddings, maternity photos and babies’ first year images. The Image Gallery officially opened in September 2008. The IG team includes four staff photographers and graphic designers, Dodie and Scott Huffman, Josh Gaddis and Bristol Crider. Combined our exciting team has over 30 years experience in photography, graphic design and framing. We have been trained nationwide by the very best photographers and teachers in the world and are members of the Professional Photographers of America, Wedding Professional Photographers International and Professional Photographers of North Carolina. We specialize in fine art photography with a contemporary edge including bridal, engagement, weddings, children, families, and high school seniors. Photographers are also available for commercial and business head shots and events.
Dodie Huffman
Dodie is the owner and lead photographer of Image Gallery. She has a passion for photography and wants every client to love their images. Her specialties are families, babies, maternity, high school seniors and framing. Dodie has 20 years of experience in photography and custom framing from some of the best schools and teachers in the country.
Scott Huffman
Scott is also a lead photographer of Image Gallery. Scott has had extensive training by some of the best teachers in the country. His specialties are engagement, brides, weddings, boudoir, and high school seniors.
Josh Gaddis 
Josh is a lead photographer and has had extensive training in the photography industry. He has been working with the Image Gallery for seven years.
Bristol Crider 
Bristol has been with the Image Gallery for 3 years as an assisant photographer and our main graphic designer.
